Last year, the Government introduced the Your Future, Your Super (YFYS) laws to enable better outcomes for members of superannuation funds. Australian Catholic Superannuation did not pass this test, and as such was required to send postal and email communications to any members in LifetimeOne. The test assesses the returns of MySuper option (after the deduction of fees) over the last 7 years. The test compares the returns of our MySuper option against the performance test benchmarks. For ACS the test combines the performance of our current MySuper option, LifetimeOne (introduced in May 2018) and the previous MySuper option, Conservative Balanced.

Members who engaged with our call centre between 26 August and 26 November 2021 about the YFYS test are encouraged to consider if they are happy with that interaction. If you do have any concerns with that interaction, we encourage members to call us on 1300 658 776. When calling, we ask for members to mention that the reason for the call relates to a call centre interaction in relation to the Your Future Your Super performance test communication.
