Australian Catholic Superannuation and Retirement Fund, the leading industry super fund for employees of Catholic organisations nationally, was today named an Employer for Choice for 2019.

With more than 90,000 members, over $9 billion in members’ funds and 120 employees nationally, Australian Catholic Superannuation is proud to be amongst this select group of organisations, awarded the Employer of Choice award.

The prestigious award, which is presented by Australian Business Awards, recognises Australian Catholic Superannuation as the type of employer that aims to “maximise the full potential of their workforce through effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention”.

The recognition follows an exhaustive selection process involving hundreds of organisations across Australia.

The Chief Executive Officer of Australian Catholic Superannuation, Greg Cantor, said the award recognised the hard work undertaken by staff and management over the past year to provide members with high performance, values-based services and products.

“We are proud and honoured to be recognised as an Employer of Choice in the 2019 Australian Business Awards,” Mr Cantor said. “As a mid-sized, self-administered industry super fund, this award is testament to the quality of our people who every day focus on providing our members with superior levels of customer service and delivering excellent member outcomes.

“We do this through strong leadership, embedding and living our values, which are core to our positive culture, and delivering sustainable employee experiences to help our people and culture thrive; all of which make our Fund successful and a great place to work.”

The Program Director for Australian Business Awards, Tara Johnston, said: “The Australian Business Awards exist to recognise organisations within Australia that are committed to their employees and their customers.

“These organisations have demonstrated innovative leadership and management practices that engage and support their workforce.”

Ms Johnston said the 52 national Employer of Choice Award recipients would participate in the international chapter of the program at the World Business Awards, with recipients having a unique opportunity to benchmark themselves against the top performers globally.
