  • Permanent members with a sponsoring employer automatically receive 3 units of death and TPD cover on joining ACSRF within 3 months of joining their employer—called the eligibility period. ACSRF also automatically provide TSC (if working 15 hours or more per week) on the entire 75% of salary (up to $160,000 pa) on joining a sponsoring employer and choosing ACSRF within the eligibility period.
  • Casual members with a sponsoring employer will automatically receive 1 unit of death and TPD cover on joining ACSRF during the eligibility period. When a member changes from Permanent to Casual, they can now keep the same number of death and TPD units they held as a Permanent member.
  • If a person finishes work with a sponsoring employer they will be classed as Retained. They will keep the same number of death and TPD units as they held in the previous category. They can then apply for TSC cover if they wish.
  • Members who leave a sponsoring employer to work for an external employer will keep the same number of death and TPD units as they held in the previous category. They can then apply for TSC cover if they wish.
  • Personal Plan members must apply for insurance which will be for a fixed dollar amount (not units). They can apply for death cover up to $5 million, TPD cover up to $2 million and TSC up to $25,000 per month.
