Insurance benefits

ACSRF provides automatic cover for eligible members employed by a sponsoring employer when they join the Fund. This automatic cover provides Death, Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) and Temporary Salary Continuance (TSC) insurance (up to 85% of salary—conditions apply). Members have the option of applying for additional units of Death and TPD insurance and changing their age based unitised Death and TPD insurance cover to fixed dollar insurance cover.
Personal members can apply for Death, TPD and TSC insurance benefits within the Fund.
All applications by members to increase or change their level of insurance cover will be subject to assessment and underwriting by the Fund’s insurer.
